As a AAA Member, I secured an amazing discount and booked a stay at the Grand Bohemian. It was truly a dream come true! The ambiance was impeccable, and the presidential suite was pure luxury. Nestled in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, the hotel’s prime location made exploring the city effortless.
One of the highlights of my trip was Optimist Hall, an incredible food hall boasting a wide variety of shops and restaurants. It was impossible not to indulge in something unique from each vendor! Every bite was an adventure for my taste buds.
Next was my visit to the NASCAR Hall of Fame was exhilarating. I even appeared on the big screen—a thrilling experience I won’t forget anytime soon. Admittedly, I’m no pit crew expert, but I was pretty impressed with my solo pit stop routine!
After working up an appetite, I headed over to South 21 Drive-In, an iconic spot that has been “Serving Charlotte since 1955.” As a Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives alumni, it was the perfect place to refuel with some authentic comfort food.
