Karl joined Signature Travel Network in February 2023, as VP Content Strategy - Exploration. When he was 17, Karl spent a year as an exchange student in Brazil, and that was the spark that lit the fire for his passion about travel and adventure. His personal travels have always been adventure related, and he’s been very fortunate to turn his avocation into his vocation.
He’s had his own business operating small group adventure trips for people over 50, and another customizing small group itineraries to Papua New Guinea, the Silk Road, and Namibia and Botswana, to name a few. He managed a dive lodge in Fiji, and has led canoe trips in northern Ontario. At Signature, Karl is responsible for creating relevant and compelling content, resources, and tools for our Adventure, Expedition, and Active products, working with members and suppliers to do so.
