DAILY ITINERARY

Arrive in Anchorage and transfer to hotel with evening at leisure.

Hotel Captain Cook - 1 night

Transfer to the rail depot for your train ride deep into the wilderness and arrival at Princess Wilderness Lodge. This afternoon is at leisure, so enjoy relaxing at the lodge, sit and gaze at "The Great One" from the lodge's treehouse or take a shuttle to Talkeetna. (D)

Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge - 1 night

Travel by motorcoach through pristine wilderness to Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Enjoy a free afternoon to enjoy the lodge, its river view deck or Princess Village with the popular Christmas cottage and sugar shack and then savor some local cuisine at your included dinner. (D)

Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge - 2 nights

Set out on the Natural History Tour through Denali National Park in search of the perfect photo of the mountain and Alaska’s Big 5. Upon your return, explore activities at the lodge which may include an excursion in the surrounding area or relax on the deck overlooking the Nenana River. Tonight’s dinner is included. (D)

Travel by motorcoach to the Copper River area with mountain views of Mt. Drum, Mt. Wrangell and Mt. Blackburn. Tonight’s dinner is included. (D)

Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge - 2 nights

A full day to enjoy all the resort has to offer such as horseshoes or games in the lobby along with many optional excursions. Tonight, enjoy an included dinner. (D)

Travel via motorcoach to Valdez and take a high-speed catamaran across Prince William Sound to Whittier to board the Caribbean Princess. Set sail at 8:30 PM

The largest tidewater glacier in North America — is 76 miles long, 7 miles wide and towers at 600 feet tall at its highest point, with icebergs that are 3 or 4 stories high. The views are astounding!

Cruise the ice-studded fjords of this national treasure, a UNESCO World Heritage site for a full day as a Park Ranger narrates.  Glacier Bay offers some of the most dramatic scenery and wildlife experiences in the world and is home to the mile-wide Margerie Glacier. Watch the gigantic icebergs break off and calve into the sea. This will be a highlight of your scenic cruising.

The town of Skagway still looks like it did during the Klondike Gold Rush over 100 years ago. Enjoy visiting the many shops and galleries. Follow in the footsteps of miners with a ride on the White Pass and Yukon Route narrow gauge train through coastal mountains. Pan for gold or meet sled dog puppies in training. There are so many adventures available!

With its snowcapped mountains, misty rainforests, massive glaciers and bounty of wildlife, Alaska’s remote state capital is the perfect place to dive into nature. Pan for gold, take a whale-watching cruise or ride the cable car for spectacular views. So much to do, so little time!

Known as the 'Salmon Capital of the World', Ketchikan is the ancestral home of the Tlingit people, who have carved the world's largest collection of totem poles. Visit the Totem Pole Heritage Center, stroll along Creek Street or hike through the lush rainforest.
